High School Senior Photography in Upstate SC

Time flies—one moment freshman year is starting, and the next you’re picking out caps and gowns. My high school senior photography sessions are designed to capture this important milestone so you and your high school senior can look back on these memories for years to come.

The Senior Portrait Experience

A senior session should be more than just pictures. It’s a celebration of who they are—covering their interests, achievements, and the journey they’re about to begin. When you book a session, you’ll get:

  • Personalized Planning
From wardrobe selection to location scouting, I tailor each session to your senior’s personality, whether they’re into sports, music, or simply want a beautiful outdoor setting in Spartanburg, Greenville, or anywhere in Upstate SC.
  • Professional Guidance
I’ll walk you through all the details—like what to wear, how to pose, and even fun ideas to showcase their unique style.
  • Comfort & Fun
The session itself is relaxed and enjoyable, so your senior feels comfortable being themselves in front of the camera.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. When Should We Schedule a Senior Session?

I recommend booking in the junior year or early senior year. This helps to make sure you get your preferred date and have time for any retakes or printing needs before graduation events.

2. How Long Does a Session Last?

A typical session lasts about 1-2 hours, depending on the package. This includes time for outfit changes, travel between locations (if needed), and getting comfortable in front of the camera.

3. What Should My Senior Wear?

Choose 2-3 outfits that showcase their personality—think casual, semi-formal, or a look tied to an activity (sports uniform, band t-shirt, etc.). I’m happy to offer styling tips and inspiration boards to help decide. Here is a wardrobe guide you can use to start planning outfits.

4. Where Do Sessions Take Place?

We can shoot on-location in scenic spots around Spartanburg, Greenville, or Upstate SC, or at my studio for a more classic look. If your senior has a unique idea—like a favorite park or coffee shop—let’s chat! Check out this post for ideas on locations around Upstate, SC.

5. How Soon Will We See the Final Images?

Typically, 1-2 weeks after the session, I’ll invite you to a viewing/ordering appointment. You can select your favorite images for prints, albums, or digital downloads at this time. Photos are typically delivered with in 72 hours of selection.

6. Can Parents or Guardians Join the Session?

Absolutely! I encourage family members to be part of the moment if they’d like a quick photo together or just want to be there for support.
