A Special Christmas Tradition
The Upstate Santa Experience is all about creating unforgettable holiday memories for families. Our Santa portrait sessions offer children a unique and enchanting visit with Santa Claus. Setting up the Magic
Setting up for The Upstate Santa Experience in 2023 was quite a task. My husband and I built the set at our home to get everything just right. Loading all the gifts, sets, and decor took both of our vehicles. It took 3 hours between climbing stairs and full set up. However, it was worth it to be ready for Santa and the children.
The Perfect Portrait Studio Setting
We had a gorgeous studio to set up located at Dove Light Photography Studio in Downtown Greer. With tall ceilings, lots of open space and plenty of natural light, this was the perfect location for our sessions. Jason and Tara were incredibly helpful in providing assistance with set up, extra gear and knowledge. I?m grateful for their support in making our day a success.
Magical Moments with Santa Claus
We welcomed many children to our set, and Santa answered lots of curious questions. Kids asked about the number of toys the elves make and what the reindeer do for fun. In our first set, children visited Santa?s mail room. Santa showed them the gift-wrapping area and delivery map. We added a bit of extra magic throughout the session, creating joyful and memorable moments.
A Cozy, Magical Experience
My favorite set was the second one. The cozy, darker setting made children feel more comfortable. Santa and the kids painted magical toys together, explored a special globe, and shared heartwarming stories.
